Steven Soderbergh ( “Che”, “Oceans Eleven”, “Erin Brockovich”, “Traffic”) has already revealed he’ll work on only two movies before ending his career in film direction.
The director told to the media he’s preparing a biopic on pianist Liberance, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, and a cinema adptation to the ‘60s tv series “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.”, with George Clooney. These two projects are told to be, for Soderbergh, like the grand finale of his terrific career, and the director is going to follow new lines of life, as painter, artist and photographer, adding to the two more movies that are ready to be out on screens: “Haywire”, with Antonio Banderas and Ewan McGregor and the thriller “Contagion”, with Kate Winslet and Jude Law.
An upcoming great loss for world cinema.
