In a performance for the Vicenza Theatre, The Stomps have conquered the multi-aged public, capturing and creating energy from zippo lighters, garbage can lids, plastic bags, boxes of matches, rubber tubes, newspapers, water and more objects stomped with an extraordinary talent.

Stomp is an amazing a show with an eccentric cast that do not utter one word yet perspire individuality, combining body movements and facial expressions, mixed with the common things that you can easily find around.
An  universal language of rhythm and sound, where the talent of the performers (dancers, actors and musicians, we must say!) is something in eternal motion, like to communicate that simple things can have their own life even if static and useless in art world, apparently.
Sweeping floors, swinging, hitting and banging on everything on stage.

Created by Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell, Stomp is “performance theatre” without words – everyone can understand it.
It has little or no melody in the traditional sense, so it doesn’t matter if your taste in music is jazz, classical, dance or pop.
Stomp is about rhythm, which is common to all cultures. Everyone knows rhythm, if only from the beating of their own heart – it is the basis of all music.

You won’t be able to resist clapping, feeling the tribal and natural sound of life in you.

Must see.
