To Be or not To Be Eco-friendly? That is the question! Well the Florentine Brand, ‘To Be’, designed by the entrepreneur Simone Vannuzzi, has come up with an entire capsule collection using ecological fabrics. The green philosophy that inspires the brand uses natural yarn extracted by bamboo, cereals, pineapple, banana, broom, nettle and sisal. All  these are combined in a minimalistic style, for Aesthetics, Ethics and Nature are the ingredients and creed of this brand.

To Be has been one of the few Italian brands to take part in February’s New York Fashion Week. The innovative fresh charm of the collection, as well as the strong ecological connotation, have attracted great attention and appreciation.

The natural colours, are obtained through biological studies of renewable cultivations, that respect nature and health, for instance the powders used for the tints of each item are allergy-free. The soft  and bright texture of the fabric gives a silky touch on the skin, thus enhancing the well-being of the person wearing ‘To Be’, as well as nature itself that remains preserved.

Simone Vannuzzi, weaned by Made in Italy, has succeeded in his pursuit of conquering the American market. In fact he now has a showroom in New York, which is becoming one of the trendiest locations in town for eco-fashion. His brand has been conceived for the metropolitan woman, accustomed to breathing multiculturalism every step she takes, with a sensitive concern towards mother earth. Vannuzzi likes to imagine her as the kind of girl you would meet in a Parisian museum, who has left her bicycle outside.

Hence the cosmopolitan To Be lady, lives her times abandoning glossy cliché, in favour of a return to pure essential values, connected to nature and intellect; with a keen eye for fashion, but the right dose of irony to play around with it.
