Alberto Testa has been one of the most important Italian lyricists of our century. He has written over 1500 songs. Several of these have become evergreens achieving popularity all over the world and have been sung by world-wide performers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Mina, Julio Iglesias and Shirley Bassey, just to mention a few. Many will remember the duet of ‘The prayer’ sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion in the soundtrack of the animation movie ‘Quest for Camelot’ which won a Golden Globe in 1998 and was nominated for the Oscars that same year.

Alberto Testa has always loved to commit himself in various areas of entertainment, becoming a television writer and a record producer promoting young talents. And it is through the notes of a young talented band – Gli Accordo Cromatico – introduced by Alberto Testa’s colleague and friend Memo Remigi, that his partner Simonetta Fontana has decided to dedicate him a Memorial through the language they loved the most: Music.

Sintagmi Di Vita

Accordo Cromatico will play to tribute Alberto Testa on THURSDAY 28TH JUNE at 9pm in the Basilica di Sant’Agostino in CAMPO MARZIO in ROME.
