Twentieth Century Fox has released some new concept art for “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” on the movie’s official Facebook page.

The pictures have been released by Kirsten Franson, Milena Zdrakovic and Brian Cunningham.
Overall, the concept art for “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” provides a background look at the creation of the film and shows that the point behind the sets is to make it seem like this type of plot could happen in the real world right now in our time period, not sometime in the future.
As far as sets go, the film looks like it’s going to be really grounded.

The movie, directed by Rupert Wyatt, and with special effects by Weta, Academy Award winner for “Avatar” and “The Lord of  the Rings”,  is a reboot of “Planet of the Apes” series, starring James Franco, Andy Serkins, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo, Tyler Labine, David Hewlett and Jamie Harris.

With 20th Century Fox Distribution and a science-fiction plot, the movie is told to be out on screens next August.
