A picture’s worth as a thousand words.
Is that why  today in the world of publishing, journalism, media, the illustration is used so often?
Whether it is the cover of a book, to follow an article, will lead to an ‘infographic or an advertisement, the illustration, static or animated, has become the key of the success and recognition of countless newspapers and magazines.
But who is behind an image? An illustrator, of course.
The freelance illustrator craft  is considered “new”, especially in Europe, even though from a certain point of view it could also be considered as ancient printing.
Today illustrators are internationally recognized, earn much, and  travel in search of new sources of inspiration.
And how would you become illustrators?

ILLUSTRATORS is a documentary that asks these questions to four Italian artists famous throughout the world and winners of awards: Alessandro “Shout” Gottardo, Emiliano Ponzi, Olimpia Zagnoli and Francesco Poroli.
Four people that, thanks to the talent and technology, have been able to realize a dream.
