Kokurikozaka Kara” will be out in japanese cinemas on july 16th, 2011.
Producted by Studio Ghibli, inspired from the shōjo manga written in 180 by Tetsurō Sayama and illustrated by Chizuru Takahashi, the animated movie is directed by Hayao Miyazaki’s son, Goro, at his second work after “Gedo Senki”.
The screenplay is written by Mr.Hayao with Keiko Niwa, and with soundtrack composed by Satoshi Takebe (“Deltora Quest”, “Romeo * Juliet”).

Studio Ghibli ha salso already displayed an anti-nuclear power banner at its Tokyo head office, from an iniziative by Miyazaki himself.
The banner, placed on the roof of the building in Koganei, western Tokyo, since Thursday, reads, “Studio Ghibli wants to create movies using electricity without nuclear power plants.”
The staff drew the message and illustration on the banner after Miyazaki proposed that they should “express a candid feeling,” according to the animation studio.
